What You'll Do
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing, conducting phone screening for candidate and new employee orientation.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and timely follow-ups.
- Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other networking opportunities to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local universities, colleges, and professional organizations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Generate recruitment reports and analytics to track key metrics and improve the hiring process.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the Central Valley, California area or similar markets.
- Proven ability to source and attract top talent across various roles and industries.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including diversity and inclusion strategies.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in recruitment within AgTech, Technology and Agriculture is a Plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
The pay scale for this position is $70k – $75k per year, DOE. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
