Assembly Manager

This position will oversee and lead the assembly operations for robotic tractor kits within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for managing a team of technicians, logistics and assembly workers, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team of assembly technicians, operators, and support staff to achieve production goals.  
  • Schedule and coordinate workforce and resources to meet production deadlines and operational targets.  
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure ongoing training and development for team members. 
  • Oversee daily assembly line operations, ensuring robotic tractors are built to specification and within quality standards.  
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to assess productivity, quality, downtime, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review and improve the manufacturability of robotic tractors. 
  • Ensure all robotic tractors meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and inspection during assembly. 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive dealer training programs for robotic tractor kits.  
  • Lead and coordinate OEM visits, showcasing strong presentation capabilities.  

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).  
  • Relevant certifications in manufacturing, Lean, Six Sigma, or project management (preferred).  
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a production environment  
  • Experience with process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.  
  • Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation and training materials.  
  • Prior experience in dealer training and OEM relations preferred.  
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  
  • In-depth knowledge of assembly line operations, quality control processes, and safety regulations.  
  • Familiarity with robotic systems, automation, and related technologies.  
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.  
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software (ERP systems, production scheduling tools, etc.).  
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
