Field Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Padilla Talent has an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in autonomous robots. Our client is at the forefront in automating logistics. We are looking for someone to contribute to the deployment, service, and monitoring of robotics at customer sites.

This is a 6 to 12 month contract (1099) position with the potential to convert full-time.

What You'll Do

  • Support customers on-site for deployments and post-sales phases
  • Perform on-site demos to potential customers
  • Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performance
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Document operational data and generate performance reports
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding customer needs, product performance and desired improvements

What We Are Looking For

  • Associate, bachelor’s degree, or technical certifications
  • Relevant experience or coursework in mechanical, electrical, or software fields is a plus
  • Possess the ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments, with a hunger to learn and self-motivation.
  • Work/school experience in mechanical, electrical, or software systems
  • Must navigate fast-paced operational environments analytically and utilize exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good driving record and reliable transportation to and from job locations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits
  • CDL – ability to drive a box truck – highly desired.
