What You'll Do
- Install, perform maintenance and repair Analytical Xray Equipment, Xray HV Power Supplies, Xray Detection Devices, Automation Devices, CCD Cameras, Cryogenic Equipment, and other relate devices.
- Large amount of travel Monday-Friday, with the possibility of some weekend and holiday work.
- Service and maintain customer analytical x-ray equipment and associated devices.
- Troubleshoot/maintenance/repair/installation of X-ray Generators, Optics, Detections Devices and Cryo systems.
- Install and modify system software and applications as needed.
- Perform customer training on the alignment and use of client’s analytical systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Travel will be required for this position
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent training minimum)
- Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.
- Capable of troubleshooting software and hardware environments
- Previous XRD, XRF (X-ray Diffraction, X-ray Fluorescence) would be an asset.
- Ability to pull log files and work within windows terminal
- Ability to obtain security clearance for customer and government facilities – required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
